Dear Pageant Contestant,

America’s Classic Miss & Mister of Central Virginia is a Regional, State and National Scholarship Beauty Pageant and
Print Model Competition.

It is our mission to provide young girls and boys, teens and adults a pageant experience where contestants walk away
with a sense of accomplishment and pride by the close of pageant day.

All contestants have personal reasons for entering pageants.  Pageant contestants learn to feel comfortable in front of
people and develop skills that carry over into all areas of their life.  

Dates-Time-Location

•        September 27th
•        Headquarters opens at 1:15- Registration begins at 1:30 and Pageant begins at 2:00pm
•        Milby’s Pageant Headquarters (The Milby Company) 5768 Hopkins Road (Phone: 804-275-8384)

Workshops- FREE TO ALL PAID (DEPOSIT) CONTESTANTS
Next workshop date is September 25, 2008 at 7pm

•        Scheduled every  third Thursday of each month at Milby’s Pageant Headquarters.  
•        Positive body image, self esteem, and age appropriate fashion are introduced and discussed.  
•        Current queens and kings will demonstrate stage formation (how to enter and exit the stage area).  
•        Prospective contestants will have the opportunity to practice and ask questions.  
•        Parents with young children are encouraged to attend.

Preliminary pageants allow you to perform on stage in front of judges and gain experience before you move on to
compete in the Regional, State, Specialty (Classic Teen, Mini National, and Classic Duo) and National Pageants.

Division queen & king winners earn a modeling scholarship (4 classes) to Milby’s Models &
Talent.
Print model winners earn a modeling scholarship (6 classes) to Milby’s Models & Talent.
All participants receive a recognition trophy.
Age division winners receive a trophy and optional winners receive a trophy/per supreme
group if under20 contestants/per age group if over 20 contestants.
Compete in photogenic, best sports wear, and best party wear to earn a supreme title.
Supreme holders earn a modeling scholarship (5 classes) to Milby’s Models & Talent.
Certificates will be awarded for prettiest eyes, smile, and hair, and best personality/per
supreme group if under 20 contestants/per age group if over 20 contestants.
All participants have the opportunity (permission from guardian if under 18) to have their
photo/s and
bio (only first names are used) for girls, boys & ladies.
Earn $50 toward America’s Classic Miss & Mister Grand National.
